We had received an inquiry email from Tom H. inquiring about a availability, cost, etc. of private tour with wheelchair needed for distances and very limited steps in Ephesus Ancient City on August 31st, 2015.
The request was for October 15, 2015 and the wheelchair user person and Tom H. were arriving in Kusadasi with Holland America's Zuiderdam Cruise Ship.
Our operators replied to Client's inquiry of wheelchair accessible tour in Ephesus with all the details including
Wheelchair Accessible Attractions in Ephesus.
Suitable Durations of visit for each Attraction at Ephesus for wheelchair users.
The cost for Admissions of Each Attraction and the discounts for wheelchair users.
The Location for Meeting at the Kusadasi Cruise Terminal and Other Frequently Asked Questions about the Money, Shopping and Food Options were included in this very detailed email.
The client noted that they were favorably impressed with the detailed information provided and wanted to reserve our services for October 15th!
They wanted us to include in their day's activity all of the places listed in our e-mail and anything else that will make it a memorable day for them as first-time visitors.
They were especially interested in learning the Christian perspective on the things they will be seeing!
They mentioned that they would bring a wheelchair for the disabled person to use as needed throughout the day.
The client asked one more time to make sure about What type of ID must we have to gain the free admissions for handicapped as noted in our e-mail.
After re-confirming the price and the payment conditions. The client was booked successfully for a Private Tour for Handicapped in Ephesus.
As the day arrived, we finally met them at Kusadasi Cruise Port and provided a stunning tour of the sites around Ephesus.
And thankfully the client Tom H. provided a glowing review for us on Tripadvisor with the Title of "Touring Ephesus in a wheelchair"
"We toured Ephesus with Turgul Sokmen on October 15, 2015 and highly recommend you do the same!
The van used for the two of us was modern, clean and equipped with a power lift that enabled Juanita to remain in her wheelchair while we toured. The driver provided fast and courteous service in assisting with the wheelchair at each of our several stops.
Turgul is very knowledgeable, well spoken and used impeccable English throughout the day. There was a large map posted in the front of the van which he used to great advantage in explaining where we were and the history of the area.
Finally, he provided information before we contracted to take the tour that made it clear what portion of the buildings and grounds would be viewable from a wheelchair and his honesty was appreciated. Turgul also informed us that entrance fees would be waived if we brought the proper documentation regarding the medical need for using a wheelchair. Again, this useful information was appreciated.
His personality made us feel like we were old friends! The best tour on any we've ever taken!!"
